Ale same wybrzeża w granicach państwa austrjackiego, węgierskiego, serbskiego czy rumuńskiego, były pustoszone przez bandytów, których nie udawało się nigdy pochwycić na uczynku. Po dokonaniu zbrodni znikali oni aż do nowego napadu, który zdarzał się nieraz o setki kilometrów od poprzedniego.
