Zane Grey
The Rustlers of Pecos County is another fantastic example of Western fiction by the master of the genre, American Author Zane Grey. The town of Linrock, located in Pecos Couty is south Texas has fallen under the control of a gang of rustlers. Two Texas Rangers, one undercover as a reckless cowboy, the other right out in the open, drawing the fire and wrath of outlaws, have been sent to bring law to a rustler gangs town. In order to do it they risk losing the love of the women theyve fallen for. These ladies are, unknowingly, daughter and niece to the rustler chief. There seems to be no good choice for these two dedicated lawmen.
Ethel M. Dell
A set of five melodramatic love short stories, first published in 1917 and written by a popular 20th century writer Ethel M. Dell. The Safety Curtain is an unusual love story that takes place in India mainly and has much excitement. A dragonfly-like dancing girl is rescued by a subaltern when he offers her a marriage of convenience and takes her to his station in India. But she hides a mysterious past and eventually it catches up. Will love be able to conquer all? This collection contains also: The Experiment, Those Who Wait, The Eleventh Hour, The Place of Honour. All the other stories are love stories and have many twists and turns. Highly recommended!

Frederick Schiller Faust was an American author known primarily for his thoughtful and literary Westerns under the pen name Max Brand. Faust also created the popular fictional character of young medical intern Dr. James Kildare in a series of pulp fiction stories.

Newton Moore, the perfect detective, as Sherlock Holmes, and perhaps better. Moore talks about Russian adventures, German spy masters, killer Indian powerful, Balkan intrigues, rifles. Events occur before the outbreak of the First World War. This is another creation of Fred M. White, where espionage is an integral part.

Major Alfred Edward Woodley Mason (7 May 1865 Dulwich, London 22 November 1948 London) was a British author and politician. He is best remembered for his 1902 novel The Four Feathers. His short story The Sapphire follows a Sapphire given to a Captain Michael Crowther by his Burmese wife who he is deserting. When he finally decides to return to them he finds them now out of his reach and so he becomes a Buddhist Monk. However, the Sapphire that now adorns a temple is stolen and so begins an adventure to track down the missing gem. Sometimes violence or threatened violence accompanies it. Also, love and adventure followed Sapphires trail across half the world...

This dark story is full of mystery and unsolved mysteries. It was the first real day of Spring, and most people lingered out of doors till the bare branches of the trees melted in the gloaming, and it was possible to see and hear no more, save for the promise of the little black herald singing madly from the blackthorn. In certain places, the lights were grouped into masses, because they lit up a trio of Louis Quatorze card tables, where twelve people played bridge. From time to time, yellow flames revealed some brilliant objects on the walls or on the floor, hinting at the treasures of art, most of which have their own history.

Usually we imagine that in many years science and technology will reach a new level, people will become more and more developed both physically and mentally, but Jack London in his novel shows a completely different world in which there is no science, medicine is replaced by quackery, and people become worse and worse, gradually sinking morally. Mockery and ridicule of anyone is now normal entertainment for them, their vocabulary is very limited, and their knowledge is scarce.
