Francis Henry Atkins British speculative fiction writer, working mainly under two pseudonyms (Frank Aubrey and Fenton Ash) in sequence, was extremely successful and influential. He played an important role in the History of Science-Fiction.

The Tempting of Tavernake is written by Edward Phillips Oppenheim. He composed some one hundred and fifty novels, mainly of the suspense and international intrigue nature, but including romances, comedies, and parables of everyday life.
