Facets of prefabrication. Perspectives on modelling and detecting phraseological units

Corpus-based studies have brought fresh insights into the role of collocability and lexico-grammatical patterning as core aspects of language permeating its structure and use. Facets of Prefabrication builds upon these findings and provides further impetus in the direction of large-scale explorations of phraseology. lt introduces a dependency- based method of detecting potential phraseological units to increase the coverage of prefabricated structures in automatic combinatorial dictionaries which have so far been mainly restricted to binary collocations. Various sources of evidence are used to evaluate this approach and assess its relevance to phraseological theories, including word recall experiments and phraseological markers analyses. These investigations open new perspectives on the interplay of novelty vs. formulaicity in naturally-occurring language and increase our recognition of seemingly subtle, but nevertheless ubiquitous aspects of phraseological prefabrication.

Pomaga zdobyć serca i umysły słuchaczy, gdy mówi się do nich w ich ojczystym języku. Pozwala podróżować i nie zależeć w tym od innych, poznawać ludzi i naprawdę ich rozumieć. Bez znajomości języka trudno o głębokie poznanie danej kultury. A może autor i inni podobni mu poligloci mają wyjątkowe talenty, geny albo każdą wolną chwilę spędzają na nauce języka? Nic z tych rzeczy. Dr Mateusz Grzesiak odkrył pewne schematy i na ich podstawie opracował metodologię superszybkiego i skutecznego uczenia się języków obcych. Nazwał ją Fast Languages, ponieważ każdy, kto zastosuje się do jej wytycznych, jest w stanie w niecały miesiąc opanować angielski czy hiszpański w stopniu komunikatywnym. Młodzieniec ten uchodzi za całkowicie nieczułego na wdzięki kobiet, w rzeczywistości jednak potajemnie, z wzajemnością kocha Arycję, potomkinię wrogiego Tezeuszowi rodu, która przebywa w więzieniu. Nieświadoma tego Fedra, targana grzeszną miłością do pasierba, chce popełnić samobójstwo. Przedtem jednak zwierza się swojej piastunce, Enone. Tymczasem do miasta docierają pogłoski o śmierci Tezeusza. Tym samym rozpoczyna się walka o sukcesję po nim, a kandydatami do tronu są: Arycja, Hipolit i syn Fedry i Tezeusza. Enone przekonuje Fedrę, że śmierć Tezeusza pozwala jej na spełnienie pragnień i związanie się z Hipolitem, którego ma obietnicą związania się przeciwko wspólnej konkurentce do tronu Arycji. Fedra udaje się do Hipolita aby prosić go o oszczędzenie jej syna. W czasie rozmowy niechcący wyjawia pasierbowi swoją miłość do niego (za Wikipedią). W pracy starano się odpowiedzieć na pytanie dotyczące zależności między budową wyrazu wyjściowego, jego użyciem i możliwością tworzenia określonych jego form. Opracowano klasyfikację podstawowych i niektórych peryferyjnych form pochodnych w aspekcie strukturalnym i funkcjonalnym. Omówiono formacje sufiksalne, starając się przy tym określić ich udział w procesie komunikacyjnym oraz prześledzić wartość emocjonalną wnoszoną przez poszczególne sufiksy. Typologia przeprowadzona została z uwzględnieniem stosunku subiektu nazywającego do środowiska komunikacyjnego oraz do obiektu nazywanego określoną formą imienia. W aneksie zaprezentowano spis najbardziej regularnych imion własnych wraz z podstawowymi ich pochodnymi oraz wykaz sufiksów uczestniczących w tworzeniu nieformalnych form imion.
