Zawarte zostały w niej praktyczne sposoby na radzenie sobie z problemami, które spotyka się na drodze do publikacji naukowej. Opracowanie wzbogacone zostało obszernym materiałem ilustracyjnym (93 rysunki, 5 tablic) oraz wyodrębnionymi graficznie zaleceniami (22 wskazówki), a ponadto wyróżnia się przyjaznym językiem.
