Dietrich Bonhoeffer (1906-1945) Śpiewając niemiecki hymn narodowy, Dietrich rozmyślał o zniszczeniach, jakich Hitler i naziści dokonali w Europie. Dietrich zrobiłby wszystko, co w jego mocy, aby ich powstrzymać, nawet jeśli oznaczałoby to pociągnięcie za spust broni kierowanej w samego FUhrera. Przemyślał to pod każdym kątem i miał czyste sumienie. Urodzony w kochającej rodzinie, Dietrich Bonhoeffer prowadził życie jako pastor, nauczyciel, teolog i szpieg. Mówił o problemach w Niemczech, kiedy Adolf Hitler doszedł do władzy, wzywając Kościół chrześcijański do ratowania dyskredytowanych narodów i przeciwstawiania się imperium zła. Oskarżony o bycie wichrzycielem, Dietrich wytrwał nieustraszenie pośród niegodziwości. Jego praca jako szpiega w niemieckim ruchu oporu i udział w spisku mającym na celu zamach na Hitlera doprowadziły do uwięzienia i ostatecznej egzekucji. Lekcja z jego historii życia jednak pozostaje: "Nie mówić to mówić. Nie działać znaczy działać".
