Czyta się Patyka bardzo szybko, a niejako przy okazji i na użytek własny można przeanalizować swoje stosunki i kontakty z matką. Sporo tu truizmów, ogólników, garść odniesień do roli kobiety w społeczeństwie i stosunków panujących między kobietami właśnie. Ale czyta się dobrze.
