The heart of this monograph is to revisit existing knowledge on experiential pedagogy and then combine it with somehow forgotten concept of responsibility in order to enhance the fundaments of entrepreneurship education. This monograph aims to contribute to the dynamically developing fields of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education. This contribution is a refreshed, experience and responsibility-based, view into the learning process. lncluding these two concepts into theory and practice of entrepreneurship education and also investigating them from different perspectives may result in rethinking and advancing the way entrepreneurship education is executed. The monograph is an invitation to the discussion on entrepreneurship education and its foundations. lt tries to provide same answers to numerous questions, but also leaves a lot of them open, thus stimulates further reflections and research, exploring different facets and nuances of experiences and responsibility and their roles in entrepreneurship education.

Enuma Elisz (Enma Eliš) to babiloński epos napisany w języku akadyjskim, nazywany tak od pierwszych słów, które znaczą "Kiedy na wysokości". Pierwotny tekst tego eposu pochodzi z XIV wieku p.n.e., zaś zachowana wersja pochodzi z II wieku p.n.e.. Był recytowany w Babilonie w czasie święta Nowego Roku. Nazywany jest też eposem o stworzeniu wszechświata. Porządek przedstawia się następująco: światem rządzi panteon bogów z Mardukiem na czele, ludzkość ma tylko służyć bogom. Kosmogonia babilońska miała jednoznaczny pogląd na sens istnienia człowieka. Jak podaje "Enuma Elisz" "kiedy żaden jeszcze nie objawił się bóg", istniały jedynie praistoty. U zarania dziejów byli tylko Apsu istniejąca od zawsze słodkowodna Otchłań i Tiamat (Ocean). Symbolizowały one pierwiastki: żeński i męski. To na podstawie analizy tych tekstów mezopotamskich Zecharia Sitchin sformułował swoją niezwykłą teorie o pochodzeniu ludzkiej cywilizacji.

Coursebook is devoted to 30-hours lecture course on Environmental Protection, delivered by the author for more than 9 years to polish and international students studied in English at the Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery Engineering, Warsaw University of Technology. Environmental safety of biowaste in the circural economy

The book deals with a very important element of the circular economy related to sustainable management of biodegradable waste. According to World Bank by 2050, the human population is estimated to increase more than 9 billion; meanwhile, energy demand is expected to almost double, and the demand for water and food is expected to increase by about 60%. It is also obvious that the amount of biodegradable waste will grow in th coming years, and it will become a global problem and need to change in the organic waste management system. If not properly handled, the large volume of biodegradable waste may deteriorate air, water, and soil quality, resulting in significant impacts to food, energy, and water supplies. However, waste also poses a great opportunity as feedstock for renewable energy generation and production of value-added products Thus, reuse and treatment of biodegradable waste play an essential role in the food-energy-water nexus. The individual chapters of the book are aimed at the importance of biowaste and other biodegradable waste in a circular economy, taking into account environmental aspects (e.g. toxicity, organic carbon sequestration, LCA). This book will serve as a useful resource for environmental engineers, biotechnologists, researchers, and students studying organic waste processes, as well as operators of a wastewater and organic waste treatment plants.
