Muszą też zmierzyć się z licznymi zaczepkami ze strony dowodzonego przez demonicznego Hansa Teufla oddziału Hitlerjugend, w którym wbrew własnej woli znalazł się ich dawny kolega Romek Modrak. I choć większość Kaktusów głęboko przeżywa zdradę chłopaka, Milka ciągle wierzy, że nie wszystko jest jeszcze stracone Wielka wojna z czarną flagą to klasyka polskiej literatury dziecięcej i młodzieżowej.
