She was also known as Eliza Louisa Moresby Beck and Lily Moresby Adams. She was a staunch Buddhist and strict vegetarian, highly critical of the materialism of the West. Her works include The Ninth Vibration (1922), Dreams and Delights (1922), The Perfume of the Rainbow (1923) and others.
