Internacjonalizacja przedsiębiorstwa. Strategia zarządzanie pomiar

Procesy internacjonalizacji i globalizacji nie są zjawiskami nowymi. Właściwie ich początków można się doszukiwać od momentu, kiedy ludzie tworzyli pierwsze systemy wytwórcze, a następnie zaczęli się przemieszczać w celu pozyskiwania potrzebnych surowców i innych zasobów oraz ich wymiany. Z czasem, stopniowo, w celu ułatwienia takiej ekspansji zaczęto tworzyć różne udogodnienia, na przykład infrastrukturalne, które z jednej strony ją umożliwiały, a z drugiej strony stawały się jej akceleratorem. Procesy te przybrały na sile, na niespotykaną dotąd skalę, w latach 80. XX w. Stały się wówczas przedmiotem zainteresowania zarówno praktyków, jak i teoretyków zarządzania. Celem monografii jest rekapitulacja dorobku naukowego (zewnętrznego oraz badań własnych) w zakresie internacjonalizacji przedsiębiorstw oraz chęć ukazania złożoności i wielowymiarowości tego procesu, jego przyczyn i konsekwencji oraz zalet i wad. Nowatorstwo podejścia badawczego zastosowanego w pracy polega na rozpatrywaniu internacjonalizacji przedsiębiorstwa w perspektywie trzech wymiarów w zintegrowanym układzie. Do tych wymiarów zaliczone zostały: strategia, zarządzanie, pomiar. Internacjonalizacja rozpatrywana jest w odniesieniu do dużych przedsiębiorstw (korporacji) produkcyjnych. Zagadnienia teoretyczne ilustrowane są licznymi przykładami z sektora samochodowego (samochodów osobowych). Praca w założeniu miała mieć charakter uniwersalny i raczej opisywać wielowymiarowy i złożony proces internacjonalizacji przedsiębiorstw produkcyjnych, aniżeli stanowić diagnozę sektora samochodowego.
Introduction to Mathematical Programming. Part I

This textbook is intended for students of technical and economic universities. It is a result of my teaching of mathematical programming, optimization methods and operations research to students of Czestochowa University of Technology, including Erasmus+ Program students, for over ten years. This is the first part of a planned series (an intended series), limited to the presentation of issues related to linear programming. The second part will focus on non-linear programming problems. The textbook is divided into five main chapters. Chapter 1 is a reminder of some mathematical topics (the basics of linear algebra and systems of linear equations) that will help the readers understand the material discussed. Chapter 2 considers linear programming problems from its standard form to practical, highly common, with various examples of applications at the intersection of technology and economics. In chapter 3, the transportation problem with applications will be considered. Chapter 4 deals with a special kind of linear programing, so-called integer programming. And finally, Chapter 5 shows how the Maple package can be used to solve any linear programming problems.

Obecna sytuacja geopolityczna sprawia, że ceny surowców gwałtownie rosną, a niezależność energetyczna staje się obecnie głównym celem Europy. Nie ulega wątpliwości, że kluczową rolę w tej energetycznej transformacji odegrają odnawialne źródła energii. Dużym i trwałym efektem będzie znaczne przyspieszenie inwestycji w energię odnawialną przy znacznie większej ilości energii słonecznej i wiatrowej zarówno na lądzie, jak i na morzu. Linguistic and Cultural Aspects of Specialised Translation. A Textbook for the Students of Business English is a practical course in translation from English to Polish and from Polish to English. It has grown out of a need to run a course of specialised translation for students of Business English at Częstochowa University of Technology. However, even if this textbook is aimed at this particular group of language and translation students, we believe that this volume has lot to offer to students of translation in other fields. We base our belief in the usefulness of this volume to any translation student on the fact that the primary focus of all chapters is on the question of the language – culture relationship. This relationship is uniquely represented by each individual language and difficult to reproduce in any other language. In other words, this textbook is about translation of culture and culture-bound terms, which poses a perennial problem of translators in all areas of their activity. This volume consists of twelve chapters and has been designed to fit into a standard Polish academic timetable lasting one semester. Some chapters may require more than 90 minutes of seminar time; others are likely to take less time. Generally, the structure of most chapters follows the same pattern. After an exposition of a translational problem, there comes a practice section, in which students are asked to solve the problem. Although each chapter is accompanied with a key, not every exercise is answered; some exercises allow individual students more freedom to provide a solution and others serve as a material for an in-class discussion. The examples used in the book cover a wide range of topics ranging from business proper to film studies, and are tuned to suit the level of beginner translation students.
Logistics Challenges: Global and Local Approaches

The monograph, titled Logistics Challenges: Global and Local Approaches, is the result of scientific meetings and discussions held during the Global Conference on Logistics (GCoL2024). The aim of the Global Conference on Logistics was to disseminate the latest research findings and achievements of scholars at an international forum, as well as to discuss current issues in the fields of logistics and management. This monograph presents a multifaceted perspective on the challenges and opportunities of contemporary logistics, showcasing both scientific research and practical solutions in this field. It is divided into three parts, each focusing on different but complementary aspects of modern logistics: advanced technologies and innovations, sustainable development, and the economics of transport and logistics. The first part, Modern Technologies and Innovations in Logistics, explores the role of innovative technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and Web 4.0 technologies in enhancing the efficiency and adaptability of logistics processes. This section includes analyses of AI applications in inventory management, highlighting the benefits of neural networks and machine learning. The authors discuss the development of IT systems, such as SDP3, aimed at optimizing transport in production processes. Additionally, the significance of logistics clusters in Poland is examined, emphasizing their role as catalysts for innovation through collaboration, technology development, and integrated networks of enterprises. The chapters in this part provide invaluable insights into the role of technology in increasing logistics competitiveness and adaptability to changing market conditions. The second part, Sustainable Development and Logistics Process Optimization, focuses on the role of logistics in achieving sustainable development goals and optimizing processes in response to environmental and economic challenges. A key topic is the decarbonization of transport, requiring significant CO2 emission reductions by 2050. The authors present decarbonization scenarios for Poland, emphasizing the need for new technologies and regulatory frameworks. They also highlight the "milkrun" concept, which enhances operational efficiency by integrating supply and return processes. An important aspect of this part is the analysis of CSR practices in the logistics sector, covering sustainable development objectives in environmental, social, and governance areas. Practical examples and studies underscore the necessity of an integrated logistics approach that combines innovation with environmental responsibility. The third part, Transport and Logistics Economics, addresses economic and strategic aspects of logistics and transport. One of the discussed topics is the formation of freight rates in the face of rising operational costs, such as fuel prices and road tolls. These analyses rely on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) methodology, indicating cost optimization directions for transport companies. Another key issue is the impact of autonomous vehicles on supply chains in Europe, considering economic savings and increased efficiency. The authors also examine the significance of information exchange standards, such as EDI, GS1, and XML, in market forecasting and operational risk reduction. These standards enable faster data exchange, improved transparency, and better disruption management in supply chains. The final chapters in this section focus on integrating technological innovations with renewable energy sources in construction, highlighting logistics' potential contributions to sustainable practices. Managerial, Social, and Political Aspects of the Activity of Selected Religious Groups

Religions have accompanied mankind since the beginning of its existence, and there are many indications that its development was facilitated by them. Analysis of the history of homo sapiens also allows the conclusion that its success has been indispensably associated with readiness for creative problem solving, consistency in the implementation of new ideas and courage in taking risks. In this regard, religious life provided mankind with valuable inspira-tions. Religions have dealt with the relationship between the sacred and the pro-fane and built axiological systems that distinguish "good" from "evil", the theological search for the existence of the "moral compass" has played an important role in this context. In the sacred texts of many religions, one can also find passages dedicated to management and to the issues such as the "use of talents," showing initiative and resourcefulness. Early civilizations initiated numerous processes which led to the develop-ment of different forms of statehood. As a rule, religions created specific po-litical and social climates conducive to the formation of organizations, and because they had the educated ranks of clergy at their disposal, they could provide states with cadres of administrators if needed. The developed hierar-chies present in religious organizations also played an important role in sup-porting civilizational projects. Since the Reformation and the associated religious wars, the influence of religion has begun to wane, especially since the French Revolution. In addi-tion, the political, social, and economic changes that took place as a result of technical development and industrialization significantly accelerated the pro-cess of secularization. The 20th century was particularly difficult for religions, as it was then that atheism and anti-clericalism were included in the program of the communist movement. Apart from this, the broad spectrum of non-Marxist socialism also often showed anti-religious tendencies. What is more, the threat to traditional Christian Churches has come not on-ly from the political left, but also partly from the far right. While it was not noticeable in the cases of Italian or Spanish fascism, it was rather different as far as the most murderous fascist system, National Socialism in Germany, was concerned; it was only the need to concentrate upon warfare that prevented Adolf Hitler from implementing his plan to introduce a "Germanic cult" in the Third Reich. After World War II, the societal and political influence of traditional Chris-tian Churches in Europe, as well as their membership, decreased because of cultural changes. Furthermore, in large swathes of Asia, especially in China, North Korea and Vietnam, the "red movement" triumphed, which meant that religious life did not develop in the territories under its control. Cultural changes to the disadvantage of traditional beliefs also did not miss big parts of Latin America and some Arab countries, where clerical circles lost a lot of their political influence as a result of "Arab socialism." However, the renaissance of religions was seen before long. The turning point was the Islamic Revolution in Iran and the invasion of Afghanistan by USSR troops, both in 1979, which resulted in a "holy war" declared by the radical Islamic forces on the Soviets. The support for the mujahideen from Western countries, led by the USA, enabled them to win and caused a wave of "religious revival" in Muslim countries. The forces which collided with the power of Western democracies in the 21st century were activated in this peri-od. In Central and Eastern Europe, religious revival played an important role in overthrowing communism. We can tentatively say that, in the last few decades, the role of religion in the world has begun to grow, although not always in traditional forms, for example, in the West, the so-called "new religious groups", which often show syncretistic tendencies, have been popular. Just like many widely recognized confessional organizations, some of them are very interested in business, poli-tics, economics, and managerial practices. The achievements of "traditional" religions as well as the "new" ones in these areas of activity deserve attention.
