"Lodowata noc" to piąta część serii o dawnej osadzie robotniczej VargOn, której mieszkańcy skrywają ogrom tajemnic. Mona Schiller to była sędzina, a przy tym nieustraszona i silna kobieta, wróciła do rodzinnej miejscowości po wielu latach spędzonych za granicą. The author does not disappoint the Gothic romantic reader and the end, be he sad, but not all together are hopeless in the readers mind.
