Jane Austen

These two short works show Austen experimenting with a variety of different literary styles and exploring a range of social classes and settings. Written in the last months of Austens life, the uncompleted novel Sanditon is set in a newly established seaside resort, with a glorious cast of hypochondriacs and speculators,and shows the author contemplating a changing society with a mixture of scepticism and amusement. The Watsons is a delightful fragment, whose spirited heroine Emma Watson finds her marriage opportunities restricted by poverty and pride.

Le present ouvrage est une monographie scientifique relevant du domaine de la linguistique comparative dont l'objectif est d'analyser les aspects linguistico-semiotiques qui influencent les convictions et les attitudes envers les personnes discriminees et socialement exclues a cause de leur race, orientation sexuelle ou seropositivite (...). L'auteur a minutieusement examine la specificite des messages persuasifs en analysant le discours des campagnes de sensibilisation francaises et polonaises. La monographie constitue une contribution importante au developpement des recherches linguistiques en communication persuasive. Je considere que l'apport notable de cet ouvrage reside dans la maniere complexe d'aborder le sujet et dans l'ancrage de la recherche sur le langage de la haine et sur le rejet de l'autre dans le contexte sociopolitique et culturel international, avec un accent particulier sur la France et la Pologne. Un autre merite de ce travail est de presenter les strategies persuasives, employees dans les campagnes societales, sous un nouveau jour a travers une approche comparative (...). Je ne connais aucune autre publication scientifique dans le marche du livre polonais qui traiterait le meme sujet dans une perspective de recherche similaire et en s'appuyant sur un tel corpus. Otwarte i ciekawe świata wciąż poszerzają swoje zainteresowania i wiedzę, realizują swoje pasje. Jako wolontariuszki opiekują się dziećmi w świetlicy socjoterapeutycznej. Dużo rozmawiają przy ulubionym stoliku w przytulnej cukierni Pistacja. Ale świat nie jest tak jasny i bezpieczny, jak im się wydaje. Jedna z nich wpada w poważne tarapaty. Czy zdołają jej pomóc? Więc czy mi się to podoba, czy nie, jestem Zośka. Mam trzynaście lat i za niecałe trzy miesiące skończę szóstą klasę. W zasadzie lubię szkołę, tylko niektórzy ludzie mnie denerwują. Przyjaźnię się z dwiema dziewczynami Magdą i Agnieszką. (...)  Chciałabym wszystkiego spróbować, ale czasami powstrzymuje mnie strach przed nieznanym. Nie mam tej odwagi co Magda, ani stanowczości Agi. Za to jestem przyjaźnie nastawiona do świata i wierzę w dobro. Niektórzy twierdzą, że to naiwne, ale ja wolę widzieć świat po swojemu. Wolno mi, prawda?
