Juliusz Kaden-Bandrowski

Juliusz Kaden-Bandrowski (18851944) to polski pisarz, kapitan piechoty Wojska Polskiego oraz członek masonerii. Jego powieści charakteryzują się przede wszystkich dużą wnikliwością i wiernością faktom historycznym, a także wyrafinowanym językiem oraz połączeniem stylów i środków literackich. Do czasu odwilży po śmierci Stalina większość jego powieści objęta była cenzurą i wycofana z bibliotek.
Max Brand

He was a prolific American author best known for his classic western novels. Brand also created the famous character Dr. Kildare which became the basis of many films and television shows.

Rudyard Kipling
This is a scatter shot collection of short stories and poems that really have nothing to do with each other. Most of them come from Kiplings early years, so some stories are good. Night Mail is the only science fiction; then there is a fantastic story about a haunted house, almost made up as a detective story, and in the less haunted genre, the couple moves to an old estate and finds that the bonds of earth and blood are stronger than human travels.
Eliza Orzeszkowa, Tadeusz Garbowski

First published in 1859, this innovative novel carried its readers back sixty years to a time of impending change for England and the wider world. The story follows the rural lives in the fictional community of Hayslope a rural, pastoral and close-knit community in 1799. Adam Bede is a carpenter who falls in love with Hetty Sorrel, a vain, self-seeking country maid-girl who lives with the Poysers, uncle and aunt of Adam. In reality, the plot involves the love story among the four main characters: Adam, Hetty Sorrel, Arthur Donnithorne, a young squire who seduces Hetty, and Dinah Morris, Hettys cousin and an itinerant Methodist preacher. After have been seduced by Arthur, Hettys life become a turmoil of tragic events...
Jack London
The novel Adventure in an acute, exciting form tells about the life of American and European settlers on the tropical islands of the Pacific Ocean. The main characters are no less pathos than villains who are so colorful in their villainy that they set their teeth together. Jack London, in the preface, writes that this book came out of the movie script. And truly, it is full of adventure, changing locations, colorful descriptions of snow-white beaches.
