The publication is a presentation of selected activities of four Medical Simulation Centers from Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. Each of the Simulation Centers prepared a separate chapter exposing their own experiences and Best Practices in education using medical simulation. All authors are undoubtedly deeply rooted in the medical simulation and have developed a well-established educational workshop. They are trainers, coaches and facilitators.

The authors shared their knowledge regarding their educational practice regarding communication training and using the SPIKES protocol. The provided communication tips give future medical personnel the opportunity, especially beginners, to convey unfavorable information about a medical diagnosis. Authors presented examples of developed simulation - communication scenarios, their experience in cooperation with SP, each stage of scenario development and then its implementation, conditions, duration of the scenario, possibilities of modification, checklists.
