Książka A New Concept of the Universe (tytuł oryginalny) w wyczerpujący i niebywale przystępny sposób przedstawia założenia i idee Kosmogoni Waltera Rusella oraz polemikę Autora z paradygmatami współczesnej nauki. Wysiłki nad jej udoskonalaniem Autor podejmował do końca swoich dni. Mimo to ta niezwykła pozycja mogła się ukazać w Stanach Zjednoczonych  dopiero w 1989 roku, po 26 latach od jego śmierci. Echa po jej publikacji nie milkną do dnia dzisiejszego, stając się motorem napędowym środowisk skupiających się wokół dokonań wybitnych, lecz niezwykle rzadko docenianych wynalazców XIX i XX wieku.   Do tej pory nie ukazała się w Polsce żadna książka tego znakomitego autora. Jedyna dostępna w Polsce pozycja to niewielka książka biograficzna o tytule: Człowiek, który poznał tajemnicę wszechświata. W 1921 roku stworzył i opatentował własny układ okresowy pierwiastków na którym zamieścił dwa nieznane wtedy pierwiastki: uridium i urium – oficjalnie odkryte wiele lat później i nazwane inaczej – neptun i pluton. Dzięki swoim dokonaniom zdobył szerokie uznanie i znajomości wśród najwybitniejszych ludzi swojej epoki. Przyjaźnił się z Nikolą Teslą i założycielem IBM, Thomasem Watsonem Jr. (z którym stworzył nowoczesną koncepcję etycznego biznesu). Znał się z Thomasem Edisonem, Ignacym Paderewskim i Theodorem Rooseveltem. Jego obrazy wielokrotnie prezentowano i nagradzano w Stanach Zjednoczonych i w Europie. Sformułował własną teorię kosmologiczną, którą zaprezentował oficjalnie po raz pierwszy w 1926 roku. Swoją naukę wykładał w założonym przez siebie University of Science and Philosophy w pałacu Swannanoa w stanie Virginia. W 1941 roku, w uznaniu naukowych odkryć, American Academy of Sciences  przyznała Walterowi Russellowi tytuł Doktora.

Diamond plaques are being stolen from wealthy girls and poison pen letters are being delivered Inspector Jack Danton is puzzled... Wonderful entertainment and highly entertaining. If you havent discovered the joys of Wallaces thrillers there is a good place to start. Highly recommended.
