Izydora ma pięćdziesiątkę na karku i sporą nadwagę. Wspomnieniem po dorosłym już Jerzyku są jedynie kartki na święta i życzenia na Dzień Matki. Były mąż, artysta nigdy nie mieli sobie zbyt wiele do powiedzenia układa sobie życie z nową partnerką w luksusowym apartamencie. A ona, niedoszła tancerka (Izydora od Isadory Duncan), która zawiodła ambicje swojej matki i nadzieje, jakie w niej rodzicielka pokładała, przyjmując posadę księgowej, kończy z debetem na karcie, mieszkając kątem u ciotki na prowincji. Urocze sielskie małe miasteczko? Bynajmniej! Małe miasteczka też bywają nieciekawe i niechętne nowo przybyłym. Dobre miejsce i czas na zmianę? Najlepsze.
