W książce zawarto opis badań różnych aspektów twórczości i recepcji dzieł Szekspira na świecie i w Polsce. Jako wynik samodzielnych dociekań są one przedstawione w niekonwencjonalnej i nowoczesnej formie. Metamorfozy kulturowe, jakie zaszły w społeczeństwach zachodnich pod wpływem nowych mediów w przeciągu ostatnich dwóch dekad, objęły zasięgiem również tzw. kulturę wysoką, do której niewątpliwie przez wieki zaliczano twórczość elżbietańskiego dramaturga. Wpisując nazwisko Shakespeare w wyszukiwarkę internetową, okaże się, że jest on popularny niczym niejedna popikona. Powstają strony poświęcone jemu i jego twórczości, tworzone zarówno przez szekspirologów, takich jak Stanley Wells, Michael Best czy Hardy M. Cook i jednostki naukowe np. Shakespeare Birthplace Trust albo International Shakespeare Association, jak i internautów–amatorów zafascynowanych jego twórczością, bądź przypadkowo (jednorazowo) powołujących się na Szekspira. Jednym z rodzajów stron dedykowanych Szekspirowi lub takich, gdzie pojawia się wzmianka z jego nazwiskiem albo odniesieniem do jego sztuki, jest blog. Swobodę i fantazję można a priori uznać za towarzyszące twórczości Szekspira, jak również autorkom niniejszych szkiców. Dodatkowy walor stanowi załączona bibliografia, „Szekspir na blogu i nie tylko”, obejmująca strony internetowe istniejących blogów, dzieł dostępnych w Internecie, witryn informacyjnych, czasopism i bibliotek, stowarzyszeń i organizacji.

Night and Day by Virginia Woolf is her second novel and was published in 1919. But the novel is very forward-looking in its examination of relationships under the stress of the culture shift was occurring in the early 20th century. The story takes place in pre-war England and involves four characters and their relationships. Kathryn Hillbery the middle class privileged girl whose idea of success is marriage. Ralph Denham the middle class lawyer who supports his whole family and looks for his own peace of mind. William Rodney the mediocre poet and the suffragette, looking for the kind of romanticism one finds in books. Mary round out the main characters, involved in womens rights, who regards work as her precept of living. Also in the mix is Kathryns slightly ditzy mother who while working on a book seems to be easily distracted. The characters all work well together.
