Sam Zygmunt nie potrafi odnaleźć się w nowych realiach, oddala się od córek, za to doskonale dogaduje się z kobietą, od której powinien trzymać się z daleka. Po ponad roku od lipcowych wydarzeń na cmentarzu zostaje odsłonięta tablica poświęcona pamięci zamordowanych przez UPA. Edward, brat Heleny, jest temu przeciwny, ale Zygmunt stawia na swoim, nie wiedząc nawet, że ściąga na bliskich kłopoty. Niedługo po odsłonięciu tablica zostaje oblana farbą, a kilka tygodni później roztrzaskana. Nad rodziną zawisa widmo przesiedlenia. Niezwykle poruszająca historia o sekretach rodzinnych i wielkich namiętnościach na tle zawieruchy wojennej. Od tej powieści trudno się oderwać. Serdecznie polecam!
