This book was developed by a group of teachers and scientists from Bialystok University of Technology (Poland), the University of Cordoba (Spain) and Vilnius College of Technologies and Design (Lithuania) working within the VIPSKILLS project (Virtual and Intensive Course Developing Practical Skills of Future Engineers) Erasmus+ 2016-1-PL01-KA203-026152. The continual development of technologies, changing requirements in law regarding standard of new buildings’ constructions reshapes European cities. The book explores relations between architecture, environmental and civil engineering. Collaboration in a process of buildings’ design and construction is extremely important for further proper operation and thermal comfort of users, as well as achieving low energy consumption and good indoor air quality.

In the last decades, significant energy market changes have been observed. Along with improvements within the building structure and systems leading to reduction of energy consumption, there have been introduced a relevant modification in the global energy sources balance. Fossil fuels have been displaced by different kinds of alternative energy sources. New technologies have been applied that allow to make heating, cooling, hot and electricity systems much more efficient and environmentally friendly. In this book we show the development of renewable energy sources. We present several examples of technologies using solar, wind, geothermal energy as well as systems using biomass or cogeneration. Odpowiedzieli: Bukareszt jest jak ciastko kupowane w niedzielę, niby czekoladowe i słodkie, ale z gorzką polewą. Nie znajdzie się tu łatwego piękna. Bezwstyd, histeria stylu, fasadowość. Przy Bukareszcie każde europejskie miasto wydaje się tak statyczne, że aż nudne. Dostałam też zdjęcie: nogi w czarnych rajtuzach i kolorowych skarpetkach, wetknięte do plastikowego kosza. Nurkujący manekin, który chce się utopić w śmieciach. I dopisek: "Trzeba na siłę wymyślać, co jest w Bukareszcie pięknego, a i tak się umiera z tęsknoty". Małgorzata Rejmer

They make fun of him, and use his size and strength to do the hard chores they cant do. The huge, lumbering outlaw Bull Hunter intends to hunt down and kill the men responsible for his uncles death. When he finds out that the ringleader is already behind bars, he devises a clever plot to spring his nemesis in order to dispense his comeuppance, street justice-style. Enjoyable story that would appeal to those who like to see someone whos been bullied get a chance to rise above self doubt and circumstances.

In Bulldog Drummond, we meet with Captain Hugh Drummond, who lives boringly. Therefore, he places an ad in the newspaper, offering his services in any adventure, regardless of their legality or danger. Most answers are hopeless, but then one sentence is found the real girl in need. This adventure will surely be interesting.

Bulldog Drummond At Bay is another story from the famous series of Herman Cyril McNeile. This story is full of mysteries for the reader. Drummond hears cries near his yard, then notices traces of blood there. He meets two guys who claim to be after a madman. The main character is determined to explore in his unique style, but discovers a mysterious message.
