The book consists of 10 short stories about Tam a brilliant Scottish pilot, a thriller novel fan, socialist and cigar addict. The stories of Tam the pilot are not mysteries. Tams dialogue is written phonetically and he is great fun and saves the rather silly pre-Biggles stories from being too ridiculous to be enjoyable. The characters are broad, the situations light, but the stories are exciting and fun. Tam is a real person, and all the adventures set forth have actually happened, though names and places are necessarily fictitious. These are some of the earliest examples of air pulp, which exploded in popularity a decade after this books publication, following Linderbergs famous flight, and the release of Wellmans Wings.

Pieśni powstań narodowych XIX wieku; 5. Popularne piosenki z XIX stulecia; 6. Pieśni i piosenki legionowe; 7. Pieśni i piosenki harcerskie. Teksty najpopularniejszych utworów zostały uzupełnione zapisem nutowym.

He wrote Planet of Peril (1929) and two other novels set on the planet Venus and written in the storytelling form of the John Carter of Mars novels, prompting Burroughs to write his own stories set on Venus. In return, Kline wrote two novels set on Mars, as well as several jungle adventurers quite reminiscent of Burroughss Tarzan.

Fortunately, her sister, Mary Stockwell is on the scene ready to take care of her younger sister and to show her how life should really be lived. But it seems Georgianna has realized something perhaps Mary has not. Men and women did not/do not stand on equal terms and this is something Zane Grey lets on that he was aware of as well by writing Georgiannas character. Cal Thurman is the love that is set aside as Georgiannas suitor. Mary and Enoch also come together in Code of the West, although without all of the bumps of Cal and Georgiannas relationship.

Olive found in her young protege a strong instrument of influencing public opinion through her oratorical abilities.
