Kazimierz Przerwa-Tetmajer

Wybór wierszy zawiera około stu najpopularniejszych utworów lirycznych Kazimierza Przerwy-Tetmajera, polskiego poety, nowelisty i powieściopisarza, przedstawiciela Młodej Polski. Utwory powstawały w latach 18911924. W początkowym okresie swej twórczości Tetmajer pisał wiersze dotyczące problematyki społecznej. Jednak wielką sławę i popularność przyniosły mu utwory typowo modernistyczne. Stał się w swych wierszach-manifestach wyrazicielem panujących w swoim pokoleniu nastrojów zniechęcenia i poczucia niemocy. W odważny sposób opisywał sceny miłosne i kobiece ciała. Uznawany jest ponadto za jednego z największych piewców piękna Tatr. Górska przyroda była inspiracją dla jego licznych wierszy, często stawała się ukojeniem i ucieczką od melancholii.
